Ms. Knight

Ms. Knight was born in Amarillo, TX and grew up mostly in Borger.  She went to Borger schools from the time she was in the second grade, eventually graduating from Borger High School.  She attended Frank Phillips College, in Borger, and West Texas State University in Canyon, TX.  Ms. Knight graduated in 1980 with a Bachelors of Science, then spent the next twenty years doing coursework for a Secondary Certification in Math and Computers.  She earned her Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology in May of 2007.

Ms. Knight began her teaching career in Fritch, teaching junior high and high school math and algebra classes.  She went from Fritch to Spring Creek, outside of Borger, where she spent three years teaching math and computer classes.  Ms. Knight then went to Phillips to teach in the junior high and high school there.

When Phillips ISD consolidated with the Plemons and Stinnett school districts, Ms. Knight traveled north to teach at the middle school.  She has been with PSP since then, teaching math and computer classes.   Ms. Knight has also taught computer applications courses, part-time, at Frank Phillips College.  As of this coming Spring semester, she will be teaching classes in Pampa for Clarendon College.  This is the 28th year of her teaching career.
