Mrs. Echols

Mrs. Echols grew up in Skellytown and
graduated from White Deer High School. She attended West Texas State
University and graduated from there with a B.A. in English and Spanish.
Her first teaching position was at White Deer High School. Since that
time, she has taught in Maryland, Puerto Rico, as well as at Tascosa High
School, Bushland Junior High, and Canyon Junior High. She retired in May
of 2004, but decided to return to teaching and says that she was fortunate to be
hired to teach here at WTMS.
Mrs. Echols has one son, John, who lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, with his wife,
Carrie, and their two children, Ryan and Ashleigh. She also has a dog, a Chow,
named Sassy.
